Some things you might have been wondering
DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY PET?
Please, do. A twenty-four hour notice is much appreciated, but we always do our best to accommodate same day calls or walk ins.
WILL MY PET BE SEDATED OR GIVEN TRANQUILIZERS?
No. We never tranquilize or sedate any animal.
DO YOU GROOM CATS?
Yes, but the coat must first be deemed manageable.
DO YOU ACCEPT LARGE OR GIANT BREEDS?
Certainly! Our shop has the largest tub in town, electronic hydraulic tables, and wall anchors designed to accommodate even the most giant of breeds. All breeds are welcome.
DO YOU GROOM AGGRESSIVE DOGS?
Notify your groomer if you suspect aggressive behavior in your pet. We are experienced professionals trained to handle difficult situations, but some cases must be referred to a veterinarian.
AT WHAT AGE SHOULD I HAVE MY NEW PUPPY GROOMED?
The sooner the better, but be sure your puppy is current on all vacinations. Grooming should start early to ensure good social skills.
WHAT ABOUT MY PET'S ORAL HYGIENE?
Tooth scaling is done, anesthesia free, right here on premises one day a month. We even offer teeth brushing services! Teeth brushing and scaling can help to prevent tooth decaying and periodontal disease in your pet.
I WORK MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, WHEN CAN I BRING MY PET IN?
Monday through Saturday early morning drop off's available. Drop off before you go to work and pick at lunchtime or later whatever works for you.
HOW LONG WILL YOU NEED MY PET?
Size, coat type, and behavior of your pet are all contributing factors. Generally, we will need your pet a minimum of two to four hours.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN TO PICK UP MY PET?
We can usually give you an estimated time, but we would gladly call to inform you, as we do not wish your pet to stay any longer than necessary. Please arrive in a timely manner and avoid arriving early, as this may excite your pet and make finishing difficult.
WHAT IF NATURE CALLS?
Please, allow your pet to go potty during a brief walk before arrival. If your pet is here longer than four hours the staff will take them out back to go potty.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY PET'S KENNEL FROM HOME?
No but all dogs must be leashed when coming in to the shop this is for safety reasons, and all cats must be in a carrier.
CAN I TOUR THE GROOMING SHOP?
Yes, indeed! You may contact Kathy or Mike Medina (Owners) to schedule an appointment.
